Beck Newton

Beck is dedicated to helping people feel confident and supported in their health journey. With over 30 years of experience, she brings together a unique mix of skills.

Her qualification include: Registered Nurse (general and mental health), Accredited Practising Dietitian, Credentialled Diabetes Educator, and Credentialled Eating Disorder Clinician. She is currently completing her studies as a Nurse Practitioner, further expanding the comprehensive care she provides.

Through her private practice Eat Live Well, Beck supports people aged 16 and over. She can assist you with:

• Pre-diabetes and insulin resistance, including Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
• Diabetes technologies - education and set-up of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), blood glucose monitoring (BGM) and insulin pumps (Omnipod, Tandem T-Slim, Medtronic MiniMed, YpsoPump)
• NDSS forms - registration, blood glucose monitoring equipment, CGM access, insulin needles, pump consumables
• Personalised nutrition - working with you to find the most suitable approach for your long term health goals, including support for people wanting to use a thoughtful, therapeutic carbohydrate reducation approach to manage their diabetes / insulin resistance and other metabolic conditions
• Nutrition to optimise mental health
• Building a healthy relationship with food and eating
• Disordered eating and eating disorders

Beck’s approach is personal and compassionate. She takes time to understand each person’s lifestyle and goals, offering practical, sustainable strategies to improve both physical and mental well-being. Many of her patients have achieved better blood glucose management, with some even putting pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes into remission.
